EAGLE is a very powerful and flexible CAD tool. However, with that flexibility comes a lot of uncertainty about the best way of performing common design tasks.

These courses give instruction on how to use EAGLE in a professional design environment.

For individuals and small companies we will require payment in advance. We will send an email invoice for convenient payment online via PayPal or standard credit card. We will also accept a cheque if it is received a minimum of one month before the class is scheduled.

For large institutions we will also accept a PO.

EAG100 :: Intro to PCB Design Using CadSoft EAGLE

Description A course for those who are new to circuit design and CadSoft EAGLE. The course introduces the participants to using EAGLE for electronic design. Each participant will go through labs that put the concepts into practice. Common pitfalls to avoid will be highlighted.
Pre-Requisites Basic understanding of circuit design,schematic entry, and board layout. The tutorial that is installed in the /doc subdirectory (also available here) is recommended.

Description This course explains the EAGLE design flow and highlights common pitfalls to be avoided. The course starts with detailing the process of creating reliable libraries and issues with this process. Schematic capture and board layout are both addressed. Each participant will go through labs that put the concepts into practice. Efficiencies that are not obvious will be presented that allow the attendee to greatly increase their productivity using EAGLE.
Pre-Requisites Each participant should install EAGLE and be familiar with the user interface. The tutorial that is installed in the /doc subdirectory (also available here) should be completed.

The extra 2 days allows for much more in-depth labs and interactivity.
