I have created a schematic and board - OK.
I created a second schematic sheet to show the off-board connections but eagle wants to put those components on the PCB.   Is there a way to tell eagle not to include sheet2 on the board?
I know I can create a separate project for this but it would be tidier to include it all in one project.

Hi James,
if you define the off-board devices, you can use
the _external_ attrib to flag them as off-board
(help _external_)

Thanks for that.  The problem is it would be convenient to use already existing components form the libraries and, as far as I can discover, you can't do 'external' for existing components which have packages.  However, while exploring 'external' with the help of my friend Mr Google I came across the explode.ulp which takes a schematic group and converts it into lines on the info layer removing all electrical stuff and packages.  This absolutely solves the problem.
