"show value .1u"    - and all the .1u parts light up?

maybe there is a way to do this now?
and if not, then why not add it?

But if it's not immediately in the works then:

Can you recommend some ULP's that might get going on a ULP to do this?

I realize with Eagle it's a DIY world :)

You could use my 'find.ulp' for this, which will also highlight
components that are NOT labelled with '.1u', but with '100n' in your
case, because the MATHEMATICAL value is searched, not only the text.
Additionally, it can search for lots of other things. Only used together
with EAGLE 6.6 so far, but perhaps also works with newer versions.

If you're interested, please tell me the e-mail address to send it to
(too large for the newsgroup).

Thanks for the reply Andreas. I'll see what find does and put in my personal ULP menu if it seems useful.
Why the Eagle guys can't build some of these utilities in the program is just completely baffling.

Eagle really is working a lot like open source software, (or at least DIY software)  if they'd just open things up users would fix a lot of whats missing right away I'd bet.

If you want to try my 'find.ulp', you first should get it from me. This
is NOT the 'find.ulp' delivered with EAGLE, but something completely
different.

I can't post it here, because it's too large, and I can only send it to
you after you tell me a valid e-mail address (other than 'noreply...').

Hello Andreas, I would interested in the ULP, too.

Thanks in advance.
