I have for a long time been very used to copy a netname using the rename
[net] function, followed by a manual copy of the text that appears in
the name textbox. I have used this extensively to stitch up copied
pieces of layout. I first copy the airwire netname, then rename the copy
to the same name, just using simple copy and paste.

When I try this with modules, it simply wont allow me to choose do the
"name" function wich I need to copy the target netname, because it has
to be done from the schematic.

Are there other ways to copy a netname from board level without writing
an ULP?

The warning contains the net name and with Linux I can simply mark it
and copy it. This should work with COPY/PASTE in Windows as well. (?)
