Hi: Newbie question here: If I route a wire to the center of a pad, won't it be in the way of the pin which needs to go through the hole of the pad? Or does it automatically get drilled out at fabrication? Or should I just have the wire only reaching the edge of the pad and not blocking the hole? Thanks. WallaceOriginal article at http://www.element14.com/community/message/156644?tstart=0#156644.

The pad will get drilled so traces routed to the center are not in the way of through hole components.Original article at http://www.element14.com/community/message/156951?tstart=0#156951.

Thank you Douglas. After I test out my board, I can then approach the manufacturer with a bit of ease about this issue.Original article at http://www.element14.com/community/message/157201?tstart=0#157201.
