Hi,

I am afraid after closing and reopen Eagle does NOT restore the old
windows positions and sizes. WXP SP3.

From eagle.epf :

After restart SCH and BRD window are restored on monitor 1 full screen
(dual monitor system).

Hi,

The "state" = 2 will be for SCH and BRD NOT recognised. After save it is
properly stored (1=max, 2=part). Independly on screen configuration.

We couldn't reproduce this behaviour.
In your sample, the Board Editor location has a negative coordinate, which is a bit surprising.
We also tried wit neg. coordinates, but it still worked fine.
Could you change the coordinates manually to positive values and see what happens ?

Hi Walter

Nothing. It seems Eagle ignores the SCH and BRD windows data.

BTW please use same configutarion of text menue etc - as in the example
I sent to you !

First :

This is after closing of Eagle, eith Att-X. Positions are stored
correctly !!!

Than restart .... and closed again. And :

> Type="Board Editor"

......

These negative coordinates and wrong state Eagle generates itself !!!!!
And state=1 means maximised window !!!

I see this problem first time ....

I can reproduce it indeed with your eaglerc.usr! The critical part are the lines
"
Window.Brd.Loc = "-43 -2 635 561"
Window.Brd.State = "1"
Window.Cam.Loc = "141 132 968 616"
Window.Cam.State = "2"
Window.Epf.Loc = "37 40 742 596"
Window.Epf.State = "2"
Window.Lbr.Loc = "202 18 929 673"
Window.Lbr.State = "2"
Window.Sch.Loc = "445 -10 1023 735"
Window.Sch.State = "1"
"
at the end. Could you delete these lines and check if it works ?
What I don't understand is how you produced this.
If you have a reproducable way how this gets into eaglerc pls. let us know.

Regards,
Walter Spermann

It works fine ! Thanks !

Hmmm, not me - Eagle program, and sure between 6.12.2014 and now.

Hmmm, if it will happen again I will inform you !

BTW I am afraid Eagle has still problems with dual monitor systems -
especially when one has the nr 1 on the left, and another on the right ....

Meanwhile we know how: Control panel / Options / Window positions / Store positions...
Window location and states are stored in eaglerc. The maximize state was erroneously used in
project context. Fixed in version 7.2.2.
