Hi:

I don't know if this is supposed to work this way, but it is very
confusing (really, really confusing)...

Dragging a sheet (in the GUI's sheet view column) below or above a
module causes the sheet to be renamed as a module (module:2, module:3).

Dragging a module above a sheet causes the module to be renamed to a
sheet number.

I've attached a small schematic:

1) Created a schematic with 2 sheets (1 & 2). Sheet 1 has a single
module instantiated twice. A module appears as well.
2) Drag sheet 1 below MyModule:1 (an error pops up saying you cannot do
this).
3) Drag MyModule:1 above sheet 1.
MyModule1 is renamed sheet1 and an empty Module:1 is created. Now I
have three sheets and one module. The module:1 is completely empty.
4) Drag Sheet 1 (which is the actual module) below MyModule:1. It is
renamed module:2. Module:1 still exists.
5) Drag Sheet 2 below MyModule:2 - it is renamed MyModule:3.
6) Dragging MyModule:3 below Sheet 1 causes all the modules to be
renumbered.

Hi:

I also wanted to add that removing everything from both the schematic
sheets and the modules and trying to delete the all modules (since they
are no longer part of the schematic) is not possible. The module sheet
CANNOT be deleted. It exists even if it is not used or referenced.

it's supposed to work following way:
First there's the section with the main sheets, then the module sheets, sorted module by module.
The sheet title contains the module name, sheet number and description (if any).
If you drag a module sheet to the main sheet section, it becomes a main sheet as well.
If you drag a main sheet to a module section it becomes a module sheet (number depending on where you put it).
You can also drag sheets between modules this way.

A module always has at least one sheet. If the module is empty, the sheet is empty, just like in main schematic.
If you drag a sheet from a module with just this one sheet somewhere else, the module gets a new empty sheet,
but the module doesn't get deleted.

If you want to remove a module you have to use the REMOVE command:
Either right-click on a module sheet and select 'Remove module' or type 'REMOVE x.mod' to remove module x.
Does this make sense ?

Actually it's not the sheet's name, it's just indicating where it belongs to and the sheet number.

The modules keep their names, the sheet should become a main sheet. It it not like this ?
