Hi,

I have trouble with a sch/brd pair that after fixing some update
errors/warnings loaded ok in 6.4.

After upgrading to 6.4.1/2 I get several of the following errors.

Part C203 has inconsistent packages in schematic and board (ES-8-3,8@2
from DISCRETE.lbr / ES-8-3,8@3 from DISCRETE.lbr)
Part C217 has inconsistent packages in schematic and board (ES-8-3,8
from DISCRETE@13.lbr / ES-8-3,8@2 from DISCRETE.lbr)
Part P4 has inconsistent packages in schematic and board (SDX01D4 from
SENSOR.lbr / SDX01D4 from SENSOR.lbr)

Is that a bug in 6.4.1/2, or a new verification step?

Any hints how to fix that?

(Win7/64 pro SR1)

Hey,
i had a similar problem after updating to 6.5 and i managed to solve it
like this:
open the library file locate the package of the device you have problems
with and copy between the <package></package> tags should looks
something like
{code:modifiedtitle=true|jivemacro_uid=_14053444534973817|class=jive_text_m acro
jive_macro_code _jivemacro_uid_14053444534973817}
<package name="TSSOP24">

<b>24-Lead Thin Shrink Small Outline Package
TSSOP</b> (RU-24)<p>

Source:
http://www.analog.com/UploadedFiles/Data_Sheets/39677768AD7714_c.pdf

...

</package>
{code}

now open the .brd file locate the same package delete it, and paste the
contents from the library file.

you can open the lbr and the brd files with every text editor (i
recommend notepad++). I'm not sure if it matters but i did this with
eagle closed, after opening the project again the board and schematic
were consistent

Hope this will help someone,
Vlad
