Windows XP sp3, Samsung ML1610 laser printer.
I keep default settings for my printer with "Toner save - ON". When I print
from Eagle, I want to print with "Toner save - OFF".
It's annoying to go to printer settings - advanced option to set "toner
save OFF" every time I print something from Eagle, even if prints are
consecutive, with the same Eagle instance, from the same sch/brd file.
I have checked: MS Word keep those settings between consecutive
printings, so it's an Eagle issue, and not a driver one.

What you could to is to copy the printer entry in the Windows
printer setup, set the "Toner save - OFF" parameter in that copy
and use this newly defined printer with EAGLE.

this is just a work-around.
Problem is in your software, that doesn't work like any other software from
my computer.
IMHO problem is the one that must be resolved, not finding a work-around for
every complaining user.

Can't confirm this. My printer uses the last settings, no matter what
program I use. Win XP, HP-Printer.

Well, apparently Firefox also doesn't remember these settings,
at least with the "HP Laserjet 4L" we've tested it on here.
I'm afraid we currently don't have the time necessary to dig
into this. So for a quick solution you're better up using a
customized printer for this (as I described earlier).

This is a fair answer, thank you.
As anyone think, this is not a top priority bug.
